Roles & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).Create and enhance reusable Page Object Model (POM) components and automation utilities. Execute smoke, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites.Analyze test execution results and investigate automation failures.Design and document test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.Support defect verification, retesting, and root cause analysis.Use Git for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners to improve product quality.Utilize AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to generate test ideas, test cases, and Playwright scripts.Review and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure quality and accuracy.Support CI/CD test execution and assist in maintaining automation pipelines. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted testing practices. Expected Learning OutcomesHands-on experience with Node.js, Playwright, and Git.Understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile practices.Experience implementing automation frameworks and reusable test components.Exposure to AI-assisted software testing and quality engineering concepts.Ability to independently develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases.Preferred SkillsBasic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Node.js.Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs).Basic understanding of software testing concepts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Willingness to learn new technologies and AI-driven testing tools.
