Job Summary
The Automate Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the bank’s digital platforms across Mobile, Web, and Tablet channels. The role analyzes business and functional requirements, prepares test data, enhances testing tools and processes, and drives continuous improvement of automation practices. This position ensures timely test execution, supports UAT and unit testing activities, and contributes to delivering secure and seamless digital banking experiences.
Job description
Create test strategy and related documentation when required
Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and other project artifacts to develop extensive test scripts which include all exception possibilities. Test are designed with a focus on reuse and maintainability
Prepare test data and assist with the scheduling of testing during projects
Drive continuous improvement of test processes
Identify and enhance testing tools to streamline testing process (example: Test tracking, test case templates, Defect management)
Ensure that the test execution is done according to the timeline set including planning for contingency in case of errors
Plan and perform Unit Test / UAT and rerun if the results do not meet acceptance level
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or Master degree in Information Technology or other related fields
At least 3 years experience in Mobile Internet Application testing, developer or related function
Strong in Robot Framework
Knowledge of banking products and Banking Industry and Finance
Experience in mobile application testing on iOS/Android Understanding of business process management of banking operation business and risk management of solution design
Agile & DevOps, Automated Tools
